Lost & Found

"Cracking the case of the impossible."

Paranormal Investigation Tabletop Strategy Puzzle

About Lost & Found

Lost & Found is an unfinished narrative-driven investigation game that places you at the desk of an agent for the Scottish Society for Paranormal Research (SSPR). Assigned to reopen Case CN2830061F, you must pick up where private investigator Douglas Shaw left off in the 1920s and solve a mystery that has remained buried for over a century.

To uncover the truth, you must analyze four "impossible" artifacts recovered from Kilmarnock: a locket said to trap souls, a teddy bear that speaks, a uniform from a war that hadn't happened yet, and an anachronistic vinyl record. By cross-referencing archive documents, police reports, and witness interviews, you must connect the dots and present your findings to your superiors in the company.

Created as part of the Narrative Design module for the Game Design and Production BA at Abertay University, Lost & Found was created by a team of 5 second-year students.

It offers an immersive detective experience, challenging players to distinguish between folklore, history, and the truly supernatural.
